Aguas Termales San Juan de los Morros [VENEZUELA]
These hot springs are located 58 km away from Maracay, the capital of Aragua state. They are
characterized by their high content of mineral salts and other chemicals that help its healing properties. They have a blue colore and
the temperature is about 33.5
° C.
Within the installations of these hot springs you can appreciate two of them. The first is mostly used by the visitors and located within a pool. The other is visited by students and researchers who study the various properties of these lakes.
It is interesting to mention that all waters which the tourists enjoy comes from a small hill which the original is the Formación Guárico and volcanic rocks of the Villa de Cura Group.
The high temperatures seen there, makes the vegetation typical of arid and dry forest - tropical.
