The Blue Mosque [ TURKEY]
The Sultan Ahmed Mosque or The Blue Mosque ,for the blue tiles adorning the walls of its interior, is an historical mosque in Istanbul, the largest city in Turkey. It was built from 1609 to 1616, during the rule of Ahmed I. And now it becomes a popular tourist attraction.
The design of the Blue Mosque with its six minarets is the culmination of two centuries of both Ottoman mosque and Byzantine church development.
